Penny Charles is my pen name to write unputdownable cosy mysteries. I aim to entertain my readers in a gorgeous location with friendly relatable characters having their own adventures and intrigues. I was a social science researcher and writer exploring changes in society, a topic that continues to fascinate me. So it is no surprise that my protagonist Dr Darcy Miller plays out her new life in a small town going through its own seismic shifts. The most interesting things happen when ideas collide and nothing is quite as it seems.
